Clan Donald Dinner 2005
This year we had a very special guest speaker in Major General John Pearn AM RFD. His speech about “The Doctors and Nurses in the Crimean War” was both interesting and educational. His ability to meld Clan Donald and Scottish history and medicine was extraordinary. As well as this highlight of the night, fun was had by all with dancing and socialising. Clan Donald Dinner 2006
Clan Donald Dinner 2006 was a great night! Although numbers were down by previous years standards, everyone who attended enjoyed the friendly and jovial atmosphere at the Queensland Rugby Club’s function rooms overlooking the Ballymore rugby grounds. Our special guest speaker for the night was Allan MacDonald of Vallay who spoke about events affecting the Clan internationally. He was especially interested in promoting the use of DNA tests to identify which part of the Clan you belong. A full copy of his speech can be found using the link below.
